A documentary movie, "My State of Hip Hop" is currently in production. This movie, by Battleground Productions, is a discussion of the Hip Hop scene in the Mid Atlantic area. They are looking for songs for a soundtrack. This movie has already received distribution consideration, and the soundtrack will be an excellent vehicle for unsigned artists. All are welcome to submit material - email this website for address to send info.

Filming will be wrapping up in about 4 weeks. The trailer is done and looking good- will have a copy for everyone to check out online soon. On a related note- I am truly disturbed by the lack of participation from Baltimore artists. I can count on 1 hand(and I dont need the whole hand) how many "labels" have distribution in Baltimore. This is a project that is being picked up by the 2nd largest distributor in the WORLD, yet very few people have responded! There is a reason why some groups are successful and some are not, and work ethic and a sense of urgency is a major part of it! I have relegated myself to the fact that some people get involved and make things happen, and some people sit on the sidelines and talk shyt. Which person is most like you?

We are currently in the process of getting 100 more copies burned and it's going to take a minute, hopefully I'll have them before then, but I'll try to burn a copy on my own computer and hit you off with that if thats peace with you.
By the way, have you ever heard of bangin beats production, one of the dudes is my man Karizz, they did most of the production on the album, and they are super hot as well!
