You are nobody unless somebody hates you- I believe that. ;D A hater is somebody that usually wants to be in your position, somebody that is mad at you for no apparent reason, or angry because they dont have the talent/work ethic/brains to follow in your success. Let us not confuse hate with dislike- just because someone dislikes another it doesn't mean they hate on them, cause they may actually be an a**hole! But when someone dislikes you out of the blue for no reason, hate is generally the cause. It is a general practice of haters to start controversy to hide the fact that they have a lack of talent. Their philosophy is, if you can't get attention for being good at what you do, why not create controversy to get noticed? Problem is, that wears quickly, and it still doesn't alleviate the fact that they are generally wack. Having said my opinion, I would love to know how others deal with the phenomenon of the "hatin azz" syndrome. What do you do? Editied by me- although my views have not changed, I realize my tone via the internet may be misconstrued as "angry" through the use of some words. I am not angry, just pretty amazed at the childishness of it all. Lets all make some music and keep it moving!

Well for me, it depends on the extent of the 'hate'. Harmless haters get a chuckle, a head shake and *poof* they are forgotten about. If I'm bored I might go back and forth with them on some b.s. but on a whole I couldnt give two fukks about them because they arent effecting my life in any real way. When 'hate' is taken to the next level, meaning harmful in anyway, then you gotta do what you gotta do. <Added after editing: Oh and THANK YOU for breaking down the meanings of hatin' and just disliking. That definately needed to be put out there. > Keep up the good work, JayeHunnie

off-subject but will there begin to be "featured" acts on the Monday night set?
If so there's a RACK of artists (out-of-towners especially) that want to get some shine.

No doubt! We started with a tester of ourselves and it went well last week- we had a professional camera crew out and they were very pleased- even got an offer for free videoes out of it.
We have Third Kind and others scheduled for July- a few surprises in the works, plus a drop in from overseas we are working on. If someone is interested in getting on the mic all they have to do is hit us up and I am sure a schedule can be worked, thanks.
