Prayers out to Backland!

Hey FAM,

I dont know if everyone is aware but local emcee, Backland was hit by a car on Friday night after coming out of the nightclub Dream in DC. It was a hit and run and he's still hospitalized with very serious injuries. The accident didnt appear to be intentional. The driver ran a red light and briefly stopped right after hitting Backland. An investigation is going on in DC but there is $10,000 reward for the driver.

Big respect to this guy- outside of bein' a cool dude in general, one of a li' bunch of acts outta here who really got a lot of hot songs under his belt. Hopefully, he'll recover fully and still be able to do his thing.
