Best MC Comp
The youngest artist to sign to Def Jam also happens to be one of Baltimore’s most talented MCs. Comp opened many ears after blazin’ on tracks with Ghostface, Jadakiss, Cam’ron, Musiq, and a host of others. The “Boy From Baltimore” has also appeared as a character in Def Jam’s Vendetta video game, as well as on the soundtrack, and will be a character in the upcoming Fight for NY game. This modest local kid, however, remains loyal to the B-more hip-hop scene, working with P/X and Backland and ripping up local stages. Whether you’ve heard him on the radio, in major motion pictures such as Johnson Family Vacation, or on street mix tapes, Comp’s flow and lyrics range from fun to gutter with equal success.

Whats up man, yeah son is nice, I saw him last weekend at the Dunbar vs. Lake Clifton old school game, he performed during halftime, you know how it goes at those spots though, the music is blasting and you can't really hear what the artists are saying, so people who aren't big rap fans or just haters who don't give respect when they find out the artist is local! But I've heard dude plenty and he is aiight with me.
The dude from Ruff Ends was there also.

Yo, this Kenneth outta of DC. I think Comp is really tight and I like his rhyming style. Eventhough I never saw Comp live, he's probably good live and the people who aren't into hiphop or just haters because he's local are wack. Peace! ;D

Mann, Tonight Comp's having a mixtape party at the Thunderdome. I wish I can come but I know the show will be tight tonight. Also, DJ DNA and P-CUTTA is going to host the show. Plus, there will be a MC battling going on and if the best rapper wins he or she will have one song on the mixtape of both Djs. Peace!

Big respect to the kid Comp. A lot of people from here NOT on Def Jam (or even Landspeed for that matter) could learn from this dude. The kid's been doin' all types of shit- and still manages to be humble in person. Some people here got three fans in their neighborhood and think they're superstars.
