ATHENS, Greece (Aug. 21) -- The U.S. men's basketball team endured another brutal loss. But because Angola is playing even worse than the Americans, they're in the quarterfinals of the Athens Games.
Lithuanian guard Sarunas Jasikevicius, whose off-target 3-pointer kept his team from pulling off the biggest upset of the Sydney Olympics, didn't miss when it counted Saturday night in a thrilling 94-90 victory against the United States.
LB- Is it me, or is this the weakest US team EVER to go top the Olympics. Dont get me wrong, the world is cathing up with teams from Spain, Croatia and Lithuania, but WTF? Somebody tell me something, cause I cant even watch all these multi-million dollar athletes get their asses HANDED TO THEM by some club players overseas. A couple of them played in the ACC and didnt get in the NBA.
"Show em why ya mad, Jasikevicius!" ... Kneel Knaris

Big-ups to Angola for losing also. They are the only reason we are in the semi- finals.
I'm liking Spain- they playing real BIG right now!!!

Whats good Sleepy! Welcome to the boards!
You're right- they play like they have NO HEART! The women are holding it down nicely on the court, though. I saw Lebron in the stands at the Womens game- maybe he will pick up something from the way they are playing so well together.
Imma prolly check out the Track and Field a lil more - they usually have something interesting jumping off.

Any time A.I. is the SENIOR of a team that might be an indicator that the team isnt ready yet.
